The last time I came back from Thailand on Eva I was given a pink invitation to use the fast track immigration at Heathrow. As I have a British passport and use the IRIS system there was no need for me to use it. Next month I am going to Thailand and when I return my G/F is coming with me, again on EVA. We are not travelling business class so she will not get this invitation.
As there is no name or date on the invitation can anyone see any problems if I give it to her to use, use the IRIS system for myself and so get through immigration reasonably quickly.
The only problem I can see is if the colour of the invite changes. Does anyone have any experience of this or know the current colour of the invite.
Thanks

Usually the boarding pass is also stamped with authority to use that lane so if the two don't match then she will not be allowed in.

They've been pink for years. I've been issued them a number of times and have never had my boarding pass stamped.

Next time you're up front, if you ask the stewardess nicely, you might even be able to get a spare on (or two). Smiler

Personally, I wouldn't want my partner go through UK immigration alone for the sake of saving a few minutes, if I could avoid it.

I've had my boarding pass stamped/endorsed (on occasion) for the Fast Track lane through Security departing an airport but never for Immigration/Passport Control on arrival.

Sometimes you just need to flash the business/first class boarding pass to go through other times you get a generic airline/airport card invitation, not experienced having to show both though - apart from departing of course!

Fast Track, what's all that about then Big Grin

For me, it's about ducking under the barriers in a weaving fashion to get to the shorter queue (in my case the one that takes the longest!).

We got back last Tuesday with Eva and they gave us a Dark Red invition card for Fast Track, nothing needed stamping we just handed it to the person at the Fast Track Line.

Cheers

We have a pass that is valid at most worldwide airports for the fast track queue - it's called a 3yo. Smiler

Sadly when they get older it fails to work unless you carry a sharp needle Wink
