Hi

I am flying to Bangkok at the end of May and arrive Friday afternoon 15:15 pm. I would like to fly on to Udon Thani on the same day. Is this possible?.
I will need to transfer to Don Mueang airport. Thai Airways flight departs 18:00 pm and Nok Air departs 19:45 pm, I am not sure which flight to book.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to travel between the airports, I plan to go by Taxi.

Thanks

dkcr

PS I arrive Suvarnabhumi airport 15:15 pm flight BA09

Should take about 45 mins/max 1hr in a taxi, so in theory u should make the 18:00 hrs flight. There have however recently been huge queues at immigration upon arrival at Suvarnabhumi airport -In March, I waited over an hour and a half for someone I was meeting to come through - thats an hour and a half after they phoned to say they were already in the queue - best advice - choose your queue wisely - it always helps to walk to the head of the queues to see which ones have both desks occupied - also don't be shy if u see a new desk opening, make a dash for it - everyone else will

Thank you for the replies Del and Scally, you both suggest it should a taxi about an hour to do the journey. Which means I should consider trying the 18:00 flight. I am also worried about the time it will take to pass through the airport especially as it will be a Friday afternoon.

Thanks
