If that's coming back to Gatwick then I can well believe it, going out to Thailand I would hae thought you were on the wrong plane! No leaves on the line at the moment, but look at the Heathrow fiasco! Fog at this time of the year, well I never! Next thing you know we'll have snow! Last time I remember weather conditions this bad was ... well last year!

Did you put the planes location finder on view on all the screens that weren't in use? Hope they didn't charge you for excess luggage LOL

Looks like you had a good flight.

Nothing unusual on Etihad at all, I flew with them to BKK in February via Abu Dhabi from LGW with 26 other passengers on a 250+ seater plane leased in from a Spanish charter airline. When asked where I would like to sit I naturally said as near to the front as possible and was given seat no. 2F. Business class was very comfortable, thank you, especially being able to grab 4 seats to stretch out flat across and sleep. Pity it wasn't one of their own planes, but next time I fly with Eiam, I will try Etihad again from LGW. Their own planes are top class in all aspects and classes btw.

Best regards,

Dave.

We recently used Etihad for our trip to LOS, it went Via Abu Dhabi and both Gatwick Legs where what you see on the photo, most people just lied down on the middle rows, very nice for a 7 hour trip, But the BKK leg's were full, But i must say what a great service we got from Etihad, plus the in-flight entertainment was 1st Class, Over 30 Movies to choose from on your own Personal Video Player with a 10in TV screen, and lot's of games as well. Well Done Etihad

We have just returned from a month in LOS. we flew with etihad and they were very good. The trolley dollies were all eastern european and great with the 2 kids. Entertainment system was first class especially the nose camera on take off and landing. i did notice that some peoples systems were broken. abu dabi very small but OK for an hours stopover to stretch the legs. The airport allows smoking which is great for some but i found it very uncomfortable. All in all a good airline and reasonable as a non direct flights go.

We went out in November with Ethid and I would agree exactly with Neil and Mook's comments on Etihad.
We are thinging about going out again at the end of May for three/four weeks and via e bookers have got flights Manchester to BKK from £475 with Qatar and just over £500 with KLM, Qantas, Swiss and £550 with Emirates, or £678 via LHR with Eva. Does anyone have thougths as to which one is the best and should we book now or wait as May/June are not exactly high season?
Thankyou

I would wait a short while, somehow the cheaper fares are not free yet at Etihad for June, would check around march as their rates should be the same in June as in May

WAIT........I usually leave it until 4 weeks before, under £400 from a london airport would be a good target. Even Thai do promotions sometimes.
