Hi All,
I have been searching for a website that will let me know the times and frequency of buses from Pattaya to buriram. The thai transportation website is only in Thai. I have found a few references to a yellow double decker bus with A/C but no info on times prices etc.

Any info would be greatly received

This might help: Seat 61

It's a train site, however there is limited bus info and links.

Hi,

Although cannot help you with bus times, are you aware there are flight from Bangkok (new Airport) to Buriram 3 time a week Mon, Wed and Sat at about 16.00hrs the flight takes about 50 mins and cost approx £40 single.

I have used this a number of times, quite an efficient service by PBairways (www.PBair.com), the airport is a bit outside Buriram (20min or so) as my wifes family are from the PrakonChai, Buriram area.

If I can find any info about buses I will ask the wife currently asleep as we are currently in Krabi but will be going to Pattaya in the next 2 days.

There seems to be bus staions everywhere in pattaya or at least places where buses stop. Getting info seems almost impossible. Tourist info seems little more than handing out the odd map. Nobody seems to have worked out that some of us want to travel to places apart from the airport and bangkok. Although there are a few folks who know how to get the bus towards Udon Wink
Never seems to be a problem getting a bus to the extreme city Roll Eyes

Don't bother unless you are an expert at sitting for a very long time in cramped and hot conditions, (despite ac). Hire your own mini bus/cab. Cost negotiable, so inexpensive by western standards, goes and stops as you wish. Still a long jouney. Flying is good because its short time and not expensive. There are many scenarios.

Oddly I have done 3/4 of that trip just now. The bus leaves at 7.30 am and 8.30 am then in the evening( I did not note thetimes ) . it is the bus for Mukdaharn Province. We paid 250 baht as far as Sa Kao. My GF sais you want to make sure its going as far as Roi Et. The bus was a comfortable double decker air con. It was 5 hours as far as Sa Kao.
