she will meet me at airport and we will go to the embassy next morning to submit a visa application. I was wondering where to stay for the night without any hassles or excessive cost. I know some hotels in some areas have hang ups about farangs and thai nationals ?????????

we stay in the plaza hotel on suriwong road
never any problems and the staff are great plus swimming pool and snooker tables and 2 mins to skytrain. 1000baht a nite.

if you want hotel near embassy go to "Holiday Mansion" or if you want to be "flash" nai lert but personally we always stay in "Holiday Inn" ploenchit! (watch the taxis there is two in the area)
