Carol McGiffin (co-host of ITV's Loose Women) spent Christmas and New Year in Thailand, her first trip since being involved in the tsunami. This is a very entertaining recording of Carol musing about her Thai holiday on London's LBC 97.3. Drama followed her everywhere!

Carol McGiffin

She talks about Patong beach and the 'Lighting up the Beach Ceremony'; she compares the new Bangkok airport with Heathrow and UK taxis fares with Thai ones. You'll hear all about the attitude of Thai people and what she thinks of Qatar Airways; she rants about airports and lost luggage, discusses Keith Floyd's new restaurant in Thailand and you'll find out where the best-run hotel in Thailand (and the world!) is.

It's a very entertaining show. I've edited anything non-Thai out to leave 25-minutes of Thailand related listening.

To hear it, please PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you. It's a 10MB MP3 file. Enjoy.

I've emailed everyone who sent me a PM so keep an eye on your inbox.

I've had a couple of emails bounce back from Hotmail addresses and one from NTL because "Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size".

Please let me know if you have asked for the recording and have yet to receive it.

Bryn - I've tried unsuccessfully to upload the MP3 file to YouTube. I think it was rejected for being too long (it's a 25-minute recording and YouTube has a 10-minute limit). I'm going to split it into three shorter recordings to see if that works.

Thanks Ian. Enjoy!

I'm really struggling to upload the recording to You Tube, which is obviously a video sharing website and I'm looking to upload an audio file. I've even split into three shorter files but it's not working. I think I need to somehow add something visual to make it a video file similar to this one which simply uses a logo. Any idea how to do this? Thanks!

My attempt to edit the recording at the most appropriate points resulted in the second part being slightly over ten minutes duration. As such, it broke YouTube's ten-minute rule and has been removed. I'll have another go at it tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy parts one and two above!

I've just uploaded the second part of the recording, so the entire 25-minute recording is now finally available:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

The second part is probably the most interesting and entertaining. Enjoy. Smiler
