Mercure Pattaya, yes?, is a really nice hotel only negative it is up a small soi off 2nd road, near some vacant land that serves as rubbish dumps. The small soi is near to the back entrance to Royal Garden shopping centre so quite central. Nearby Areca hotel is better situated, nicer looking and a little cheaper.

Or do you mean the Mercure in Bangkok? It used to be called the Fortune Hotel, good hotel but very muched based for the chinese and japanese tourists. It is part of the Fortune town complex, a nore upmarket version of MBK and Pantip plaza combined, and also good is it has all the usual restaurants, MK,PIZZA HUT and so on, with a Tesco Lotus right next door also.
I used to be indecisive.....but now i'm not so sure!!!
