Just come back from 10 Nights here.
I can highly recommend it if you want a quiet hotel 5 min drive from the night market, and next door pretty much to the Kings Palace. Swimming pool was large and empty most of the time, I think this was mainly due to the Thai's prefering to go later in the day (not many westerners this time of year). It is right on the beach but as the sea comes right in and they are no sunbeds, you are better off getting a taxi to one of the other beaches. There is a taxi driver who stations himself right outside the hotel. I would highly recommend using him. My wife use to phone him most days to take us somewhere or pick us up, he is cheap and very very reliable (also has 2 very small, cute dogs in his cab all the time!). We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was vast and the maid service was good. This use to be called the majestic beach previously. |

Sorry guys just seen your replies!
It worked out to about £70 a night which is not bad as there was 4 adults and a child. Plenty of room for everyone, 2 bathrooms, one of which was en suite to both rooms via connecting doors |
