Zohak, You,ll like the Royal Benja, we stay there every time we stay in Krueng Thep, the best breakfast buffet in town, great location on Sukit Road. Near the Skytrain and Subway systems. Fantastic views from the rooms, like being in the set of "Blade Runner".

I would recommend The Davis Hotel. It is situated within the heart of business district on Sukhumvit 24, a few minutes stroll to the Emporium Department Store and 10 minutes walk to Skytrain Station. Rooms are designed with thai theme. It's a mix of modern and thai. But it might be a little bit tight to your budget. I'm sure you will love it. Otherwise Windsor Suites is another choice. It's on Sukhumvit 20, very close to Skytrain Station and Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. The rate is about 2,000 baht per night, I like foods there.
I'd recommend Stable Lodge on Sukhumwit Soi 8. It's not as upmarket as some of the other suggestions, but has a sizeable walled garden and pool area, friendly staff and a great all-you-can-eat barbeque every night. Danish mangement, but manages to avoid feeling like every western hotel you've ever stayed in.
Probably around 1200 baht per night
