My friend had a rat in is room at the sunshine hotel, soi 8, Pattaya, last September he saw it twice and the manager thought it very petty! I for one would have been out the hotel within the hour!

Rat is quite a common name for a Thai girl

Ive had one of those lizards thinsg about half metre in my room before, scared the beejebbies out of me..

In the place where I stay in Kata they get the odd snake, at least it would get rid of the rats.
