Can anybody give me details of any hotels in Rangsit please.

i know of two, both on the west side of the road (left-hand side if coming from don muang), north of don muang airport and south of the future park shopping mall.

one is the siam hotel, which i haven't used. the other, virtually next to it, is the hotel rangsit, which does not have a visible english sign.

the hotel rangsit costs about 400 baht per night for an ensuite double room with air-con and mirrored ceiling. if u want hot water after midnight, then u'll have to ring reception to turn it on. instead of giving out a room key, u have a slip of paper with the room number on it and someone shows u to ur room. food is available on room service and is good value.

both hotels are beside nightstadium and therefore presumably see their share of people who've been clubbing there, especially at weekends. if u're coming from the airport by bus, then u'll pass the muay thai training school just as u see the siam hotel. if coming by taxi, then ask the driver to stop at nightstadium.
