As far as I know Sy.... it's thrashing down with rain in Samui, high winds, sort of Monsoony .... etc etc

Could be worse... it's bloody freezing in Isaan at the moment.... I didn't take my coat off all day yesterday.

Talking to my girlfriend in Samui today-Its been overcast with sunny periods for the last day or two, but otherwise its been raining heavilly for a month or so with lots of flooding. -it is afterall rainy season! She said it was quite cold for Samui, but she is always cold.

Expect the rain to go on for another month, with dry periods between heavy showers.

Samui - Just a quick up date if anyone is heading out here...

Been here 3 days now, managed to get a tan already (after 5 days of gloomy weather in pattaya!) have had a decent amount of sun and occasional showers every day... not half as bad as it has been.

Still lots of water in places, but is passable, even on a motor bike.... very busy and still lots of people about, not deserted and washed out like I thought it would be
