I always stay at P&P in Chaweng. Not really a "hotel", bungalow-style basic rooms, small pool, 2 min walk to Green Mango. But the prices have gone up. Was there in February and a rooom that was 1250 baht was now 1650 baht.
Chaweng is very busy, has lots of nightlife etc. But you always have the option to go for a nice meal and an early night... Don't really know of a cheap "hotel" style place. Most are 3* and above and charge accordingly. Have a nice trip Nick |

I don't think it smells any worse than anywhere else The worst smell I've experienced is in Bangla Road in Patong, Phuket Nick |

We always stay at the Chaweng Resort Which is located at the quiet southern end of Chaweng, It has 2 Swimming Pools and the staff have always been very nice.
Good Luck |
