Hi there,

I'm going to stay in London for couple of days by end of November during my Graduation Award Ceremonies. Which hotel would you recommend?

Thanks.
Anne.

Which area of London do you want to stay in?

Hi Khun Packpao

Thanks for your reply.
I'm looking for the room around £50 - 80 per room.

Cheers.

Anne.

Anne,
As packpao says it depends on area and budget as it varies enormously but transport is usually easy on the tube.

However as you will probably be in your grad gear a taxi may be better! enjoy the the day its a "one off event"

I used to work for the London Tourist Board booking London hotels but that is some time ago and I am now a bit out of touch. You don't mention which area you want to stay in but here are a few suggestions. The Jury's Inn hotel group would be top of my list followed by Ibis, Travelodge and Novotel although to get rooms for your stated budget you may need to book in advance. I would only use traditional Bed and Breakfast hotels as a last resort as the standards can be variable.

I always check out http://www.laterooms.com and have had some wonderful nights at places like the Waldorf for around that price. Useful site for just about anywhere in UK actually.
