I'm heading over to the LOS at the end of this month to have a wedding ceremony (formal paperwork already done!). Most of my family will be travelling over too.

After the wedding, we'll be off to Samet for a few nights. I'd be interested in recommendations from anyone who has taken a young family there. My brother and his wife have two young kids (5 and 10) and would need somewhere comfortable and preferably with either a room large enough to fit them all, or two adjoining rooms.

I've stayed at Jep bungalows on Ao Hin Kok before but was thinking of Had Sai Kaew as the quality of accomodation is probably better here.

Also, does anyone know of decent websites where you can get the actual phone numbers of hotels? My wife is happy to call them to check on room sizes, family rooms etc. Unfortunately if you google

you just get back hundreds of agencies who, for obvious reasons, do not give out the phone numbers of the hotels.

Any recommendations, testimonies, anecdotes etc would be much appreciated.

try saikaew villa. the website lets u choose the precise bungalow or room that u want. the upstairs rooms in the wooden buildings (two upstairs, two downstairs) are nice.
