Does anyone have recent experience of Padi courses in thailand either Pattaya or Hua Hin.

I am planning to do the open water course in January but given that albeit a long time ago I taught diving want somewhere that will simply test my theory and then do the practical over a shorter time frame.

just about every fourth or fifth shop in pattaya and jomtien is a dive shop.Most of them are aware of tourists time limits and are happy to accomodate. I do a lot of my diving with mermaids dive centre. Because I live in bangkok , I also have many Thai friends that I dive with.
