We've just booked accomodation at the Twin Towers Hotel Pathumwan in Bangkok & the Majestic Beach Resort in Hua Hin. They looked good on the net but have never stayed in either before. Are there any members out there who have stayed in these places & could you give us an idea of what you thought of the accomodation? Ta.

Casey,

91 views and no replies, someone must have stayed but not us

Best in BKK for us Arnoma Ploenchit (opp WTC) but have done Nai Lert (ouch)

Best in HH Grand Plaza but 10 min walk to beach

Anyway hopefully you will get a response but both look ok to me from links

Colin, I can't believe that you think The Arnoma is best. Great location agreed, but the rooms are tired out and could really do with a good coat of looking at.

Last time we were there we got a room on the front corner overlooking the beer festival (I loved it, just a short stagger), when we returned from Chaing Mai we got a side room (overlooking cinema adverts from BigC).

IMHO, great location, but not the best hotel.

Paul.

Paul,

I had to book last minute and fed up with Holiday Inn as breakfast not included (we needed to be in Ploenchit for TB/VAC etc)

Having incurred Nai Lerts prices Arnoma looked ok on the net so went for it and to be honest if the hotel has reasonable pics and good location I am ok with it but if bad I would move.

Agreed probably not the best but at short notice it served its purpose and only 3 days there for docs then off to Topland in Phitsanulok then Regent Beach Cha Am which was something else! although we will revert to Grand Plaza HH on next trip as Cha Am - Hua Hin rip away taxi drivers on pick up from this hotel which is about to change to a Holiday Inn!
Regards
