Hi,
Just a quick question, can anyone living in LOS please get me the phone no. of the Heritage Hotel in Ao Nang Krabi.
We stayed there last year and had a great time but i've managed to lose the no.
I've tried looking online but all i get is a booking agents number Mad
Thanks in advance.
Can anyone recommend an online thai phone book or search facility?

Ian

Compared with booking on the hotel's website, room rates appear to be much cheaper here:

Krabi Heritage

Superior Room: May 1st to Oct 31st = 1,750 incl. breakfast
(The hotel website's price is 2,200!)

You may find other internet booking sites slightly cheaper but using the link above helps support the costs of running Thailand-UK.com

I've stayed there twice and love the hotel and will be going back in June, I've got the number somewhere and will search for it later when I've got a bit more time.

Blimey! I used to stay at a hotel which I think was on Ao Nang which was blended in to the palm trees. (Phra Nang Inn??)I wonder if it is still there?

The only other lodgings on the dusty track along the beach were thatched bungallows, and the only traffic was the twice hourly sawng taew back to Krabi Town.

Looking at the pictures of huge hotels makes me feel VERY old.

I was caught placing a banana in a couple of detectives exhaust pipes!!!

Beverly Hills Cop my friend. Have had to put up with that nickname for many years, about 1984 if my memory serves me correctly

I am also interested in staying in Krabi for a few days in May this year and this hotel looks great. But is too far out of town, or perfectly situated?

Probably as everyone else does, I want to be close but not too close. I am only thinking about 3 nights with the wife, so any other recommendations would be approeciated.

It's close to a small bar complex but not close enough for noise to be an issue, It's very close to where you catch a longtail if you want to go to Railay.

It's set on a road going away from the beach which is lined with restaurants and it's about a 2 min walk to the seafront which is where alot of the shops etc are. In my mind it's perfectly situated.
