Can anybody please help me out with some guidelines on what to say in the letter of invitation for a visitor visa application. A few bullet points would be much appreciated. Gaz

I'm afraid we need much more information before any advice can be given.
To start with, is this for a girlfriend, or wife's inlaws, or just a friend. How long have you known this person and how many times have you visited in thailand. As this person been to the UK before or for that matter any other country, do they have property in thailand.....many more questions may need to be asked, so basically provide as much information as you can and more experienced members than I will I am sure be glad to help.

Ok. We have known each other via online messaging for just short of a year. I visited thailand in march for the 1st time to meet her and I will return next week to, hopefully put through a visitor visa app. She works in bangkok as a market research consultant and has deeds to land and property in the north east. She has travelled a lot and has held visas for the us and canada. Since returning we have actually become engaged but we want to do the vistor visa 1st.I have no problem supporting her while she is here and have bank statements, wage slips, copies of messaging going back to june 2008, records of all phone calls and texts, concil tax bills and, as I have rented a council property for some 8 years, my rental agreement. Have I missed anything? Gaz
