My wife loves Singha, I love Tiger (Malaysian)

Out of the Thai ones I must agree with my wife but also Archa

yes her and the baby arrived on the 21st. And they've already turned half of the kitchen into Thai food.

Yes indeedy and a great beer it is as well, but not when brewed under licence in China, LOS and I now think the UK?

Yeh but to even things up they brew San Miguel in Singapore !!!!!!

I'm sure it's just the same old crapola in different tins/bottles.

Red horse is the best but it's not a Thai beer but brewed by san miguel. the only Thai one worth drinking is cheers extra or maybe singha, none of it is real beer of course, but better than nothing.

I think Archa beer is quite nice but my favourite beer although non Thai but sold in certain places in Thailand has to be Beer Lao.It is very refreshing to drink and i think it knocks spots off most of the Thai beers to be honest!!

Can get beer lao in villa and tops shops, lao dark is 65 bhat for a small one, excellent stuff.

I get/drink Beer Laos in the village and its about 30 baht a bottle (big size) or 500 baht a case of 12, this includes a 200 baht deposit on the crate. Good stuff

What was that even cheaper Laos beer we bought, the crate we palmed off onto your Brother in Law ?

It was awful stuff if you remember.

Get them to flog it in the bar at Old Trafford. Keano's prawn sarnies and a pint of that stuff should be enough to erase the memory of any 6-1 defeat.

Savannakhet is a town in southern Laos, near the Mekong river which is maybe where it gets its name. Unfortunately I can't tell you how high the river is there.
