Thanks Sisaket
she was hoping to get it done " locally" as she does not like having to go to Bkk on her own and was hoping to only go to take the application to VFS and then back for her passport. Yes she is a teacher and is just waiting on her permission to come back from Bkk before she submits the application.
Cheers Nigel & Panada![]()
Be careful with translations, nigel, as it could cost you double, or more, if it's not spot on. I'm sure there's a translation service in Korat somewhere.
Also, if your wife has good English, ensure that she checks over the draft translation before it's finalised.
thanks , i will its for the visit visa rather than FLR , i dont think its a full requirement to have the documents translated for the visit but we are going belt and braces to make sure.
cheers nigel & panada![]()
the permission to leave is key , once she has that sorted should be fine , you car nt get better than a guarntee from the Thai government.

Hi Nigel and Panada
I have used a lawyer in Korat for a great number of things over the years and he is very good, his name is Sebastian and he is a French Canadian who speaks excellent English and his firm is Issan Lawyers at:
http://www.isaanlawyers.com/
He can have any document translated and Notarised if you want as well by a Thai lawyer at their office, if you want any more info PM me.
Cheers
Keith
Thanks Keith
i'll go with them then when Pan gets all her documents together in the new year.
many thanks Nigel & Panada![]()
Glad to help another Tyke with the Korat connection
