We arrived to foreign passports at passport control together and was immediately informed by the UKBA officer that next time we can both attend UK passports. Fair enough, next time we will attend the shortest queue.

My wife and I duly arrived to the UK passports queue last night at LHR. The foreign passport queue looked easily like a twenty-minute wait, but we went through UK queue in less than five-minutes.

There was an Asian lady in front of us who rolled up without her husband, him having already gone through immigration, and was given short shrift by the officer and had to move to the foreign passport queue.
