Can i also add that i used Frogster's guide of what needs to be done to apply for the visa and found it very helpful, thanks.

Good luck! I wish I could get to the point where we get a message saying the application is ready for collection. Applied 22 May and had 2 telephone interviews relating to the applications but everything has gone quiet again. I did expect to be a bit slower because we are going back to the UK as a family and our neice lives with us, using the UKBA phrase - she is adopted in a de facto manner. However life has now ground to a halt as we just wait and wait. In a funny way I quite like the weekends because I then know that nothing will be heard - sad but true. Anyway good luck to all the other applicants.
Steady
