Thumbs up Which Thai related charity should we donate to this year?

    Good morning,

May 1st is the date when I total up all the premium membership donation over the last year, and what a year it has been!

Never before have we raised so much for a Thai related charity.

The grand total of donations this year is...

    £530

    Amazing stuff.
    Thanks people.

We now need suggestions for a Thai related charity to receive the funds.
All forum members are invited to put forward their ideas on this one. Then in a week or so, I will take the sugestions put forward and invite premium members only to vote on who receives the monies.

So please post your suggestions and a link if possible for your Thai related charity to this thread.

And once again, thanks for the amazing support.
    Lee

May I suggest Tamaram Temple. It's a group of people in Cornwall hoping to have their own Thai temple.

As always, I would suggest one of the already known Thai children's charity. The money is ALWAYS appreciated and put to good use.
Camillian Center is my choice because it is underfunded and the kids, staff deserve whatever they can get.

Judging others before you have met isn't a wise option.

To make it easier for us to collect a list of nominees, please limit replies to this thread to nominating and naming an actual charity.

Once we have a list of suggestions a poll will be created in which Premium Members can have their say and cast their vote.

14 replies failing to nominate a charity, as requested in the OP, have been moved here.

    Thanks

I'm already doing my own thing this weekend (Sunderland 10K tomorrow) for these http://thaichildrenstrust.org.uk/

A number of forum members have already donated to my event so maybe the premium membership money should go to benefit elsewhere but thought I'd put them forward anyway.

Since signing up for my run I've been following the charities work and they currently have a campaign to feed 1000 Burmese kids in Thailand who would otherwise go hungry http://thaichildrenstrust.org.uk/hungerbusters/

    Cheers

Mercy Centre. Big organisation, but does good work for children in Bangkok.
