Check the policy wording andye as most free travel cover with bank accounts are resticted to Euro/Med area's only not the worldwide cover you will need for LOS.

I get free travel Insurance with my Nat West Advantage Gold Account.
Just wondered if I should trust them as a company for my Travel cover.........Or should I take out additional cover, with someone else.
My concerns are, I don't totaly think you get the best cover thru these types of Policies.Or do you?
Just wondered am I alone in my doub'ts.............and wondered if other Forum members are as un trusting as me.
I will be in Chiang mai for 3 weeks this July School Holidays with the stepson, visiting his mum.

I use my Worldwide Travel Insurance that I have with a Lloyds account.
To me the medical costs, theft/loss etc. all seem OK for what I need. It is my account there but Nok is also covered as my wife.
Maximum duration is 30 days so sometimes I have to up the days but this only costs me a few pounds to do.
Compared to some I have looked at it is not bad, but as Colin says check the wording.

I have the Lloyds Premier account and Colin asked me to check something (can't remember what) but it checked out.
Territorial limits and maximum trip duration are the key bits jimmbo but also watch the activities as some travel policies exclude motorbikes and scuba never mind more dangerous activities

Its internationa.l I rememeber it was a long time I could be away, but I will check if it's max per year or trip, as I have got a few days under my belt. My work now doesn't ask when are you going next, instead asks how long are you here for.

Exactly the (only) reason I have a Lloyds account. (would NOT recommend them otherwise).
It is cheaper for me to keep £2k in that bank (instead of paying the £12/month charge) and get zero interest on it but get the insurance (amongst others) benefits than it would be to put that money in a nice savings account and then pay for all the services I get.
