Definately yes
Hi
Will they let me in the country?
I have schengen visa but the German embassy issued it. I was going to germany but cancelled so now only going to amsterdam.
Do you think i will be ok?

Definately yes
If you're offended by any assistance I give, it says far more about you than it does me.
Thanks
I am a bit worried as I am told you need to enter the country first that issued the visa.....
You'll be okay as long as the visa is current, change the "need" above to "should" and it should also be the country where you'll spend most of your time visiting (ie if going through France, the "first" point of entry, for a weeks holiday in Germany, you should apply for Schengen from German Officials. In your case, plans have changed from your original intention and you don't need to worry.I am told you need to enter the country first that issued the visa
No need to worry your Visa is fine.... Amsterdams a great city to visit , enjoy
bangkok mags
lots of fine museums to visit and give the brewery visit a try

Hi Thaigirluk,
I would take a wild guess that Lamai may be thinking about possible restrictions that may apply to you and/or your Visa, if you are traveling alone
I am sure he will clarify soon.

Right,
My wife and two stepsons have German Residence Permits, which is also a Shengan visa, when we travel to the UK sometimes we travel via Rotterdam to Hull on the ferry, so we have to go into holland. There will be no problems what so ever we do this journey on a regular basis and sometimes from we drive to Dunkurque. No problems at all.
