I have read this, it is quite a good read as are the other Jake Needham books. The detective drinks Phuket Beer though is that real?

I have never seen Phuket beer here, Millie, but a couple of Thai restaurants in Southampton offered it when I used to live there

They sell it ,or did, at the Robin Hood pub at Prom Phong. I remember as a dick head was in there once a couple of years back ranting and raving that the bottle he had was out of date, even though there was no use by on the bottle, just the made date. poor serving girl looked so upset.
