apparently these are a special breed and cost a lot more than your avereage eating scrawny thing that is usuall here in thailand, I had to wait 2 weeks to buy them and IF they grow to this big size then I will breed them for the future. Even if they get to a good size uk chicken I would be happy any bigger i will be over joyed ;-) I have seen the stock they come from and they were big uns as we say in deepest darkest wales.
I am as interested as you to see if the 6/7kg tag is true. Maybe a thai fairytale, but the ones at the breeders were huge so maybe just maybe ;-)
Links I have no idea but name fb is ashley ritchie .

Hi Ash, looks like you are having a lot of fun mate.. do chickens in thailand need keeping warm at night? would it not be better to install a fan or some aircon in their coop?

Perhaps a cue for the joke about the Welsh sheep farmer doing his driving test. The examiner asks "Can you make a U-turn?"........... Not on this thread though.

Actually Shrek KFC would probably be interested in buying these super birds you are breeding, I can't even grow a proper plant in the garden never mind what your doing. Anyway good luck and keep us posted of your adventures.

shrek48, I've changed the name of this topic and merged it with the other topic you started about the chickens and new lady friend. Can I ask that rather than start a new topic for every update you carry on posting your daily life experiences in Thailand in this topic. This will help keep the forum tidy.

You have started 39 topics in the last few months, it would help new readers follow your journey if the diary type posts are all kept together in one place. Many thanks.

How many Ashley Ritchie's need to narrow it down a bit, or are you the one with a cock in his hand?

It also makes it easier for the Mods to round people up when it all kicks off again.
