hi gary and nok,can you tell me how your swiss air flight went,i am going with them in september for the first time,any info would be great,thank you

Hi Mate, i was on the flights too. Excellent airline, modern aircraft. No problems at all. Zurich's a nice modern airport.

Hi Vinnie, as Wolfy said good airline/aircraft. I enjoyed the flight, apart from some bum in front of me who decided to slam his chair back and spill my coke over me. Had hell of a job snorting it all up again.

In Zurich we had to use a connecting train to get to the next flight but it was simple and straight froward. Nice airport.

Are you returning with Swiss?

Our return was with Lufthansa and is was not great

but I reckon you will enjoy Swiss.

Link, the Swiss entertainment was good, it was the Jermans that was crap.

thanks guys,yes returning with swiss and looking forward to it saves me going to heathrow,i have heard the seats are cramped?is the food ok.sorry to bother you all with questions as i know you will be busy watching footy

For a short arse like myself the seats are fine. Food was good and real metal cutlery too.

Hi Vinnie.
I have flown with Swiss Air before and like Gary I thought every aspect of the flight was fine.
We were late taking off from Manchester (about 45 mins) because of some staffing shortages on the gate and when we were approaching Zurich the pilot told everybody with connecting flights to BKK that they were holding the flight for us

not bad eh!

I ve also flown Swiss , but to Beijing .... service was ok like the boys have said already , like to point out Swiss are owned by Lufthansa .....

Mam and I have used Swiss many times, Lisbon/Zurich/Bangkok and it was our carrier of choice....good timings and good service- Also Zurich is a neat and tidy airport, not too big.

The, last time they changed our flight times, after we had bought tickets giving us a 6 hour wait on the way out and on the way back. No more Swiss!!

As the owners then, it's a pity Lufthansa don't have as good a plane as the Swiss badge ones

I will have to leave the Trip Report to Wolfy, life in the village was probably more exciting than my get up go to the beach (read 5 books), come back, shower change and go to the bar life (often to the early hours). But I enjoyed it
