    please settle an argument what is the approx cost of a person applying for a uk citizenship and passport from filling in the first form. Just a price no drawn out discssions thanks

    Cost of Passport £72
    You can have a private ceremony for extra and in addition to Keith's correct costs above there are also Postage costs approx £15 for both and Nationality Checking Service (if used) approx £40 for Citizenship.

    Hidden costs are also a new dress/suit for the ceremony and car park fees if you drive to the ceremony or passport interview
