    I don't think either of them were in any fit state to add it to their list of woes at that time, maybe they've since taken advice about their experience.
    I was primarily trying to make people aware who are going through divorce that their defences will be down and they may not realise/be too trusting of others, making themelves an easy target for a few unscrupulous types (that exist in every walk of life) who haven't got their best interests at heart.

    So sorry to hear about your issues, its a worry for most people I guess, I'm new here so don't know much, but
    Is it right that If a marriage does not work within the first 2 years the lady or woman what ever! has to surrender there UK passport

    No. (And normally the lady could not have a UK passport within 2 years of marriage.) Maybe you are thinking of FLR.
