Default Thailand Calling - Dana Aaron Mather

You might disagree with the title but I've written a book called Thailand Calling and it's been getting some really good reviews. It's been called "the best book in over twenty years!!!!" and I swear it wasn't my friends or family that said it. Check it out on Amazon or any other book site. http://www.amzn.com/B00OYTJZM2

Has anybody on this forum read the book? I would love to get a review.

There's several on amazon! Unfortunately, none of them make me want to pick up the book. It sounds a story told a 1000 times. Congrats on the self-publishing though.

I certainly will . Am also a sucker for Thai based book.

Purchased on Amazon , just need to convert it so I can read it on my Kobo.

I saw your best review said reminiscent of Graham Green.

Not yet . I have a kobo. It is a drm protected amazon download . Given I paid for it I have do ethical issues with stripping the security so I can read it on my Kobo. Strictly speaking I only brought a licence to read it on an amazon reader. Hmm Want to read it will run a program so I can read it . Will never abuse the writers copyright by distributing it in a post drm state.

I think its a Christmas read.

Same goes for Mobi's book . It will I am sure be DRM'd to Amazon. But given it is for free for the next 5 days for PR purposes I cannot imagine that Mobi would give a hoot nor amazon would have a leg to stand on if I ran a program to view it on my kobo or any other ebook reader.

I should add that I read many chapters of Azzy as they were written and it is a hoot and the bloke is a very decent writer in his genre in my opinion . I am not a fan of his website blog. His novels in my opinion are better than that.

    Of an interesting breakfast fame.

Nice one will read this with joy. With marmalade just marmalade...seriously marmalade is difficult enough to get on your last night in BKK.

Haha. About twenty people have asked me if I am the Stickman Dana. I'm afraid I'm not that famous....or prolific.

No spoiler alert here but the ending was too fanciful.

Just finished the book and by in large it was entertaining but why was the main character from Chicago of all places?
More realistic if he was from Blighty someplace.
