Default 30 mins late going through Immigration, writing on departure stamp

When I flew back to work I knew I was going to be a bit late leaving through Departures due to Fly Dubai only opening their Checkin desk the 3 hours before. I went to Chaeng Wattana Immigration to get an extra 30 days to save any problems. When I got there (with my partner) we were told that I would be ok and it would not be a problem. I showed them my flight ticket and timings (I dont book my flights, work do, so i dont have a say). I was not very happy but we went away.
Arrived at Swampy Departures Immigration and the officer was lingering on my passport so i asked if there was a problem, she said I was late and called a more senior officer over, who took my passprt and wrote something on my stamp, saying I was a day late leaving, even though it was only 30 mins, I told him that I had been to Chaeng Wattana and showed him my queue number slip, he said no problem!
What he says and what will happen maybe two different things when I try to go back home in a months time.
Has anyone had experiance of this and will it be a problem?

    Thanks

In 80+ trips I've only once had an overstay stamp - that was also for 1 day. I didn't have any problems on the next trip.

Thanks for the reassurance folks, I was a but worried, as we all know what they can be like. I still have my Chaeng Wattana ticket for the 'just in case' scenario. But its all sounding like it wont be an issue

I overstayed 11 days and was charged 5,500 baht, made several visits since with no questioned asked so it shouldn't be a problem.

I had a over stay, this was about 8 years ago. Got find 100.00 Thai Baht. My excuse to one of the custom officer was " I didn't realise about the time difference between the UK and Thailand"
