    Default Stepson Citizenship after ILR

    Hi everyone,
Wife and Stepson granted FLR in Feb this year and we are obviousy planning ahead for Mrs Kingy to Pass LITUK and prepare the ILR application in a couple of years time.
One thing that puzzles me is after ILR is granted and the wife can become a British Citizen, what will happen to my stepson in regards to a UK passport.
He's just turned 12 in April so will be 14 at the time of ILR application.
Wife has PK14 and sole parental responsibility. Thai Biological fathers location is unknown and has never accepted the boy as his own.
    Thanks for any advice
    Kingy

After child's ILR, he may register at the same time as mother's naturalisation.
We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.
