    Default FLR visa

    Hello,
Just after a bit of advise.
    Section 4 -Dependant children.
My wife has a son living in Thailand with her parents and sister,do we need to mention that on the application?
4.2 Do you have any children whose parent is not your sponsor?
I suppose he is not really dependant but whats your advise?
    Thanks
    Tony

    FLR(M)

    Section 4 - Dependent children
In this section you must include any dependent children that are applying with you. (see the pay- ment section for details on who may apply with you) It is mandatory to complete this section as required. Please note this application will be invalid if you do not.
Seems to exclude children who are not applying with her?

However, to avoid any problems with child's future visa applications, perhaps she may mention child elsewhere in the form or in a covering letter?
We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.

You still have to put him on so 4.2 would be yes

As well as children who are applying with you, you should also include details of any dependentchildren not applying with you, including those who are British citizens or settledin the UK.

There is then a column to list all children. b) is this child applying with you....No

When we've done the FLR(M) form this is where we list our British son & my wifes daughter who still lives in Thailand
