Default Thai airways astronomical fare prices

Just looked at air fares using Thai airways for flights in August, over £1,000 and that's just for economy!!!!! And it looks like they are using the 777-300ER not the A380......hmmm looks like I will be flying with Eva air for the first time

I was looking for Xmas a month or so ago, I also gave up ludicrous prices even on Qatar / Emirates.

Works in my favour with being in the North of England. Return flights out of Glasgow can still be found at £525 during August.

I've used EVA a few times and they were great. Everyone claps on landing

Morning all, those of you who are fathers I hope you have a great Father's Day, for those of us that don't have children, well, carry on as usual....thanks for the replys gentlemen, yes it's the school holidays, I have just checked Thai airways fares for September and they go back down to £535 or there abouts. I'm still keen to try EVA air, but the gf might be coming for her first visit to London from Bangkok, I just felt she might be more comfortable on a flight where the flight attendants speak Thai. I will try to get her to visit in September to keep the flight prices down.
many thanks for your replys gents

Quite understandable but don't worry as in my experience there have always been a few Thai flight attendants on the EVA Air LHR-BKK route.

According to EVA Air's representative in Thailand, "Thai passengers will be happy to know that EVA Air now has 160 Thai cabin crew, meaning they can speak the mother tongue when they fly with us."
