i too like leo beer but have never seen it over here
I know it's not everyone's tipple, but this is my favourite Thai beer. Has anyone ever seen it on sale in the UK?
In the meantime, I'm off to check out that Waitrose offer on Beer Singh for two bottles for £2.39.

actually i just remembered I LIKE ALL BEERS![]()
Never seen it in the UK. I like it on draught better than bottles or cans, not that it stops me drinking them at home![]()

I normally go up the other side of the country Mark-apparantly there's one in Blaby though.
That said,Sainsbury's Wyvern store still had them at £1.50 a 630ml bottle.<STRIKE>Six</STRIKE> Five presently chilling in my fridge.
It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are
Beer lao is from the same company as chang taste very similar, interesting chang beer uk are now importing accra the cheaper version of chang, previously sold in the north east(thailand)region.

Hi all,
Good job there haven't got much Thai-uk couple around Malvern. Gary went to waitrose malvern today still have full shelf of Singha. Looks like not many people know Singha around this area.
He said at beer corner there were about 5-6 customers looking for thier fav. brand like Stella, Carlbergs etc. Then Gary just grabbed all Singha from the shelf about 14 bottles, then everybody looked at him wondering what happened, why he got them all.
He said he felt guilty so he put 2 bottles back to the shelf just in case anybody wants them. And when he walked out from the area, looking back he found few customers have a look at that 2 bottles of Singha beer.
I hope they don't fight !

and for the ladies 'Sabai' a wine spritzer from Thailand is on sale in Threshers.
If you're offended by any assistance I give, it says far more about you than it does me.
I thought the subject was LEO not LAO![]()

Yes, Somebody is a little confused here. Beer LEO and Beer LAO is not the same. Beer LAO has nothing to do with Beer Chang.
Personally I think Beer LAO is the best in the business. Drink loads no hangover!! Having been to the brewery in Vientiane (excuse spelling), and having spoken to the UK importer I will let you know when it's on the streets at my restaurants in Hertfordshire.
Now back to the Beer LEO thread!!
This thread is not about this:
