I've just seen the following on a trusted website, which members may wish to be aware of:

"Home Office Enquiries Tel: 0871 550 20**, and Home Office (Visas) on the same number. The address for both is Flat 1, Charleville Mansions, Charleville Road, London W14 9JB.

These entries are premium-rate numbers relating to limited companies and are not associated with the Home Office in any way. "
