Copying, know what you mean.
We took a slightly differing view on things. We got into bed with China's best known university who 'specialize' in re-engineering new building products for the Chinese market.

They taught us how to stop people/organizations in copying our product by using/adding some ingredients to our formula.
How? We appointed them to research some of competitors products for 'active' ingredients so that we were not inadvertently infringing copyrights/patents by adding chemically inert inorganic placebos that cannot be categorized. (there are about 600 of these that are extremely cheap and freely available worldwide) and this inadvertently gave us the idea and method to safeguard our formula.
We now have a product that has no patent and would cost so much time and effort it would be uneconomical to try and copy. Downside; an employee could get a hold of the formula simply pass on.

Ploy was going to see if some hotels in Bangkok would accept a leaflet and she was also going to see if TAT would help us. Also when I next go to Singapore I was going to talk to the embassy who have a tourism centre there.

There will be a website and I guess a Facebook page too, (sorry, seems to be necessary these days).

You could also give a complimentery pack with each tour, containing a bottle of water, some Soffel mosquito repellent and some diaralyte ;-) For UK visitors, dual pricing strategies, a guide to bartering, a taxi discount voucher and a copy of their local UK newspaper, including weather forecast ;-)

Dan, you need to arrange a meet up between you and Ian 1208! Glad you're both on the mend after what seems incredibly unlucky circumstances!

On the plus side at least you are sorted out well there, even though the bed baths must have been a real problem for you!

It is incredible that you have gone through all that and posting on it in such a short time scale, here in the UK it would have been months :-( My wife has some problems and after waiting for a GP, the GP has said they will send a letter referring her to hospital, that was last week and still no letter or appointment!

Yes, from arriving at the hospital it only took 1 hour before we saw the first doctor and it was busy. I was impressed. The hospital is a little faded but the care was second to none. No Hattie Jacques matrons there.

Glad to hear your ok Dan and any hospital visit is scary as you don't know what their going to do in the UK never mind overseas but the 20 year old doing the bed bath sounds interesting but as for the rest of your experience

Bloody hell Dan. It sounds like the hospital staff know their stuff and came up with the correct diagnosis pretty quickly. Bad guts must be one of the most difficult things to sort out as there are so many bits and pieces in there that can cause the upset. Glad to hear your on the mend. By the way, the little pink chiffon number looks really fetching - it even matches the curtains. No wonder the bloke who showed an unhealthy interest in your backside was so attentive.

That's the difference between perceived free medical in Thailand compared to actual free medical care in the UK, you had the "luxury" of a private room there, in the UK that amount would just about cover the cost of the car parking (well in England)
