Nigel, agree and wait until you start filling out the forms and booking the appointment with the NCS if you go that route :-S Worthwhile checking through the forms in advance and gathering the required info now :-)

To be totally clear, you only need life in the uk test or ESOL progressed one level - not both. Naturalization and passport are pretty straightforward compared to the first visas.

sorry to hijack this thread but can someone explain for me please



just got home and wife has received notification of performance certificate ?

it reads Speaking and Listening E3 ( A PASS ) then below on cert its says

the learner has completed the above units in August 2001 .
but is not yet qualified for the above award . ?

bit confused at the moment as she took the exam in march 2011 and got a pass

anyone help please or have you seen a similar cert
