Haven't had any personal experience but I've heard it's recently been refurbished (past couple of years) and it's like the budgie (cheap)

'dthomasss' 15/12/2007:

The rooms are immaculately clean and well stocked. The bed is not rock hard like in many hotels. The shower is very large and water pressure excellent. Lots of English channels on TV including several move channel;s, some sports, Fox News (hate it) BBC, and Disney.

The restaurant is decent and moderately priced. Breakfast is included in the 800 baht room charge and decent.

Indoor parking garage for added security. WiFi and also two internet terminals in the lobby at 50 baht per hour.

Best of all, the service is outstanding. Front desk staff are polite and speak English.

All in all, I would highly recommend this as my first choice in Khon Kaen...
Yeah I know the Sofitel is nice, but very expensive. This is far superior to the Kosa; not even close!

it is just a bit further from the charoen thani princess in a rather unattractive area. Have not stayed there personally and will not as I like to walk to the night market and it is twice as far from there as the charoen.

The hotel itself looks ok
