Don't forget the one major thing, i.e. your wife's passport, or they'll have nothing to put her visa stamp in, when you're successful.

Hello Rich, I will be doing a similar thing next week so have just compared our respective check lists. In addition to what you have already mentioned I have included a) copy rental agreement of where I live in UK; b) copy recent utility bills for same; c) in addition to the visa stamp pages from my passport I have also included previous condo and other rental agreements from my previous trips to LOS; d) copy birth certificate (mine) and divorce papers; e) copy personal bank statements showing money sent to support Nuy from '08 to present f) and copy company accounts (3yrs) as I work for my own limited company.

I'm also hoping I've covered all bases. I used the same check list provided by a visa agent that I used for Nuy's first UK trip the other year so we also have evidence of her in and out of UK without any problems. I agree with you that the most worrying aspect is the "reason to return" bit, if only because of what appears to be the wholly arbitrary powers of the people who issue the visas. Our reason is for Nuy to look after and care for her elderly relatives. All we can do is hope for the best. Fingers crossed for both of us, eh?

    Good Luck - Allan

Good luck Guys. You seem to have it all covered more info than I ever supplied and now sat on sofa next to my lovely wife. Why she has this penchant for horror movies is slightly worrying though

For future reference for any body if you use Lebara pay as you go you get a call log online. And they only charge 6p per min to a Thai mobile.
    Buy cheap, pay twice.

i use skype on my mobile £9-19 a month can call thai mobile , fair usage policy applies but when i worked it out it equals 5 hours a day over a 30 day month , it also logs the calls , number and duration back to the skype account online , so thats one more thing to use when printed out
    cheers nigel

I use 18185 from my landline which is the same, but not so good on a on pay as you go mobile (no inclusive minutes) you have to pay to call an 020 number at your normal call charge to use 18185.
