    Default An Idiot Abroad 2

    P
arts of this episode are in Thailand. A clip I have just seen shows Lop Buri. On the link it says it is on tonight but my sky box information shows tonight's episode as the Trans Siberian Express. I think the Thai episode must be next week usually a pretty funny show

Its only my own personal and slightly misguided taste.................but on the the list of do before I die is a plan to go to BKK by train from London. About three weeks I believe.

    Well documented on here

Looking at my TV mag for next week the write up is: Karl travels to Australia to go swimming with dolphins and on the way takes part in a blindfold kick-boxing contest and encounters hundreds of snakes.

    Sounds like Thailand to me

Is this the guy who used to do all the prankster stuff a few years ago, such as sneaking onto the Man United annual team photo standing next to Eric Cantona?

Don't think so. He is a friend of Ricky Gervais called Karl Pilkington (at the front) that gets sent around the world and they get him to do different things. The joke of the show is Karl hates everything and doesn't see the point in doing anything. It is worth a look if you have not seen it.

Yeah, I watched some of the first series. Stepdaughter loves it. The guy I was thinking of is Karl Power, another Manc.

And me as LOS with some of its bizzare things is a likely subject for this sort of programme

    Did anyone watch this?

I just have, and Karl had me and Nok in stitches. Snake farts, blindfolded boxing and just about everything he did in LOS had me smiling.

Well worth doing a catch-up if not seen.

Nice one storm, just had a look at that site. I don't have sky (only freesat ) so I've been relying on my parents recording this show and watching it when I pop round for tea. No need now, thanks
