Good. Because Korat needs more water to store in dams for the next dry season.

Although the topping up of the reservoirs is essential in the long run, I doubt that the floods that have already occurred in areas close to the Prachinburi River for example, were welcomed by those affected MaM Korat. Our usual 'scenic route' from Pattaya to my wife's village is out of bounds already this year. Similarly many of the industrial estates east of Bangkok have already been put on alert due to incomplete flood prevention work and the possible recurrence of last years rainy season problems. My sister-in law's firm are already relocating staff in anticipation of what's likely to happen.

As with most things natural, unfortunately it is not possible to choose where and when rain is going to fall. The fault and consequences can't be blamed on nature; after all, the rain is going to fall anyway. It's the lack of foresight and putting politics before people by the powers that be that worsens the situation.

Looking at the actual route rather than the forecast route, looks like there's an even chance we won't get it at all.

Must be a female of the species. It was going away in an easterly direction, changed it's mind a couple of days ago, and is now heading west towards Vietnam.

It has been raining here for at least 10 hours, not the torrential downpour type rain, but good solid wholesome steady rain, reminds me of Manchester.

Had a lot of rain here the last few days. I notice this morning the water levels in the ditches are seeping onto the road. If we get another downpour today there will be flooding for sure, not seen it at our home in the 3 years I've been here.
Its knocked our internet out again But spending another morning at the Nissan garage getting the truck sorted, so at least they have internet here
