Default Royal Jordanian Airlines (General Discussion)

Wife & Step-daughter went to Thailand yesterday from Heathrow Royal Jorden Airline

I have not seen any reports on here about that particular airline so will post a trip report.

Had a realy bad experiance with the travel agency. It all worked out OK in the end

    Spending Christmas on my own.

Great Can have Turkey dinner. Without watching them eating Sticky rice & som tam

    Have A nice Christmas.

Thanks Vinnie She has used Ethiad Quatar and Air France. She did not like the Air France experiance one bit.
The Royal jorden flight was £800 all the other quotes were around the £1200 mark
Dates were the problem Kid has to be back at School on the 8th.

Should have got home to Lamphun by now but no phone call yet.
Getting a little worried, May be a problem getting a flight to Chaing Mai.
she said she would call as soon as she got home

Try not to worry mate. You know how things can be when travelling in Thailand

She said cannot get flioght back to BKK on the 1st so had to book a flight back from Chang Mai on the 31st
Will stop over at her sisters place for one night. All flights from Chaing Mai fully booked on the 1st.

I ve flown them a few times via Amman , outbound just connected through to BKK , coming back had to stop in Amman , they used to take you to a hotel , give you a room , give you meals , pick you up take you back for your onward flight . this was many a few years ago ......
They are now part of Oneworld along with airlines such as BA , Iberia , American Airlines etc , etc .
I found them okay , but others did nt like the compulsory stop over .
Amman airports not the best , but maybe it s been re-vamped since I was last there .

Not had a long chat getting ready to go to bed.
She says flight was Ok. Food Good. It must have been if it pleased her.

Stop-over outbound was 2 Hrs. 6 Hrs on the way back. that's not good but the price was right, So come on down.

Personaly I like the stop-over Stretch the old legs and a Fag 2 Hrs is just nice. Never had to do 6 Hrs.
The alternative was pay £500 more each.

Anyway it looks like it not a bad Airline to use, and all the better if its at a good price
The times in and out of heathrow OK for me 16.00 out and get back at 12.00
