    hi guys just need a bit info hope somebody can help i have been married to my wife for 2 years we have been succesfull in 2 family vistor visa we are going to apply for a settlement visa in july i earn just under 20 grand a year but only been on this amont since november have all my wages slips and i can get a letter from my emploer to say myjob is long term but i dont have much in savings when we apply i will have around 2 and half thousand in the bank.i am in rented house but i can get a letter of the land lord to say my wife and little boy can live with me we also have a little boy do you think there wil lbe any problems when we apply many thanks

    he does yes and got a thai passport to

    Well the way I understand it is that you will not have to pay the extra for bringing your boy over because he has a British passport. That means you only need to meet the £18600 requirement which you obviously do so the amount you have in savings is irrelevant. You meet the minimum financial requirement, simple as that. As for wage slips, I believe you only need to have been earning the minimum requirement for 6 months, so again you'll have that covered
