Default New BBC3 Documentary - Bangkok Airport

Keo Films have enlisted the skills of Blueberry editor Denis McWilliams on their new 6 x 60 minute BBC documentary series ‘Bangkok Airport’.

The shows delve behind the scenes of the South East Asian travel hub that is Bangkok Airport. Following passengers as they check in and out of the airport, as well as the dedicated staff team and the issues and bizarre scenarios they encounter daily.

The only info I can find about it online is that it was commissioned in April, but thus far does not appear to have a scheduled date for airing.

I heard they had some 'permission' issues and some of the fly on the wall footage was less than complementary.
There was a piece on this (I think) on a blog of the film/crew/ directors.

Perhaps the final cut did not show enough 'Thainess' for the new department of culture and national media.
Judging others before you have met isn't a wise option.

I saw this show on line today googled it and Thailand-uk came top of the list. Nice one guys . Quick of the blocks. Looks like a fun show.

Thought it was quite a good impression of thais and Thailand with surprisingly no steriotyping of people with thai partners. Although it didn't give a good impression of british youth!

Found it a bit cringy at times from a farang point of view. From the spoilt little rich girl thinking she had changed because she found a hair in her food and didn't complain. That's after "slumming" it yet still managing to spend £5k , to the stereotypical farang kee nok bloke who I'm surprised hasn't ended up getting a slap

Not bad and got the impression it was slating the farang not the smiling Thai putting up with the idiots.

Just out of interest can anyone remember how long she was there for? I suppose daddy might have given her several bank cards but I know halifax only let me take out £400 per day.

And the bloke from the oil rigs. Why the hell did he feel the need to make himself look like bane from batman whilst in the airport?!

Answer question 1. 2 weeks in total, 1st week with daddy in posh surrounding and 1 week alone. So £5K in a week is some going in LOS but I think the tickets home with Eva air were included in this.

For 14 days for the 4 of us last time we went I don't think we reached £1.5K and we took the extended family out a few times.

With regards to the Airport would not have thought he would have been allowed and he appeared hideious.

    Mick..
