Hi,
I am not sure whether this is the main thread he posted on, so please would someone kindly pass on this message. My brother Colin died unexpectedly last night in hospital in the UK with his English family with him. He suffered no pain. Could I thank you for your support and friendship to him over the time he has been posting on here. I know it was an important part of his life.
Thank you
Colin's family

Very poignant that the very last post on the obituaries thread was by Colin, only 3 days ago !! Am sure everyone who regularly visited this forum will be shocked by this news. Condolences to all RIP
We'll never win the Premier League,
We'll never win a Cup,
We'll still follow UNITED !!
According to his posts, he'd not long been back from Thailand as well. Very, very sad but as a note of caution, does any member know Colin and can confirm this news?
Really shocked, my condolences and thanks for taking the time to let us know, I remember well the care and concern when he stopped posting for a while last time. RIP Colin, you will me missed.
Colin recently made his most recent trip to LOS. On his return he posted that he was in hospital.

It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are
Saddened to read this news. We both offer our condolences to Colin's family at this difficult time for them.
So sorry to hear of Colin's death.

RIP Colin![]()
If you're offended by any assistance I give, it says far more about you than it does me.
Thanks to you all for your kind words. It was so sudden and unexpected, we are still in shock. I know he loved his wife Dao and Thailand very much and we are comforted by the fact that he got his wish and went back there before he died. Take care all of you, and remember to live every moment, do not waste time or words but make your dreams and wishes come true as my brother did.
This is such shocking and sad news. I saw the fact the Doctors gave him the go-ahead to travel as a sign that whatever his problems were, they were being overcome. I sent him a pm three days ago and he said he was fine! I'm just so pleased he got the chance to head out to Thailand again and spend some time with Dao.
Colin, you will be greatly missed.
Commiserations to all family and friends.
RIP mate.
'Tis me
RIP Colin and respects to the family
RIP Colin...sad news...you will be missed.
What a wonderful testament to Colin, he was a well respected and well liked member of the Thailand-UK Community. I've not been around here very much of late because of business commitments but I was stunned when I signed in today to find this very sad announcement.
I will certainly miss his contributions to this forum. Please accept, on behalf of the entire Thailand-UK Community, our heartfelt condolences. I do hope you and your family will find strength from knowing how much Colin was liked and respected by this Community.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Colin's family wherever in the world they may be.

Judging others before you have met isn't a wise option.
