This is almost unwatchable due to the woman who does the voice over.

Fantastic scenery, and camera work. Look forward to the Bangkok episode.

You got me curious, so I've just watched it. Sophie Okonedo. I quite liked her in Hotel Rwanda. Didn't have a problem with her narration in this.

Pleasantly surprised, I thought it was OK. Good camera work and some engaging subjects. I even quite liked the "Diary" section at the end, akin to those in the Planet Earth series.

Hope the other two episodes are as interesting.

Another excellent wildlife production from the BBC, showing some unusual aspects of nature in the south. Photography was amazing especially the aerial shots.
I had to look up who Sophie Okendo was, but thought her narration was good.
Looking forward to the next 2 episodes.

I'm off to Thailand next week to see the TGF and my 79 year old Mum told me she saw this programme and she loved it. Good timing. I caught it on iPlayer and I thought it was fantastic. Nice to see Thailand portrayed in a better light than that documentary about Bangkok Airport a while ago.
