My nephew just stayed here, says everything is brand new as its a new build.
Far enough away from the infamous sois but not too far if you do fancy a look down beach road etc
He booked through agoda for 800 baht per night

Not far from Soi Diana, Soi 14 next to Tim Bar. There is a hotel up there that used to be cheap and very good called Arcadia Mansion, can be found on the web.
Looks like they are about $31/night at the moment. I used to pay 600 baht when I stayed there.

Good family hotel although rooms are a bit dated. Have 2 bedroom rooms. Great location and large swimming pool.

Same owner that owned the Carlton hotel (now sold) but also owns bliss mansion. Arcadia is very old though. You can get for 700 still

Can anyone recommend a nice hotel in central/North Pattaya near the beach with good sea views. I've had my eye on Amari hotel near soi 2 just off beach road, the sea views look amazing, but after reading some reviews the hotel is under renovation and there has been a number of complaints with construction workers making a lot of noise early hours in the morning.

The website states renovations will be complete December 2018, we plan to go to Thailand January 19 but i dont trust it will be complete on time. The hotel isn't cheap especially for a sea view room so dont want to pay all that money to listen to construction work all day.

So if you could recommend a decent one with sea views that would be great, but not too expensive like the Hilton, would love to stay there but its way out of my range.

I use the LK President on Third Rd, which whilst not on the beach is a newly built hotel with good facilities. So I would suggest that other LK Hotels would be similar. My recommendation is to choose a hotel and book an initial night or two and if you like it extend the booking. Or do two separate bookings, using your choice of Hotel or Booking.com, the first one for say one or two nights and the second one for the remaining duration of your stay. This second booking can be cancelled if you are not happy with the hotel.
